Your media and device
Zaptrell IPTV Player plays sources and media you are authorised to use. We do not supply channels or subscriptions. No Zaptrell account is required. We do not operate a backend that receives your playlists, source passwords, viewing activity or media, and we do not use developer analytics or remote crash reporting.
Source configuration and credentials are stored locally with Android Keystore-backed encryption. Channel lists, programme-guide data, favourites, category order, provider account information and preferences are processed on your device until you remove them, clear app storage or uninstall.
Requests to your providers
Adding or refreshing sources, guides and account information, playing streams and loading logos contacts the provider or image host you selected. That recipient receives ordinary network information and the credentials needed for your source. Optional background updates also contact providers. Provider privacy practices apply. User-selected HTTP sources are unencrypted in transit. Zaptrell does not proxy this traffic.
Files, recordings and storage
User-started recording of supported, authorised, unprotected streams may continue in the background with a foreground-service notification and Stop action. Files are written directly to device or document-provider storage. Recording is not automatically restarted after process death.
You select files and folders through Android's system picker. Installed storage providers, including Google Drive where available, handle their own authentication, transfers and storage. Zaptrell never receives your cloud password and does not automatically upload files.
Purchases
Google Play processes the optional one-time purchase that removes ads and unlocks supported enhancement access. The app receives purchase and entitlement information needed to unlock and restore access. We do not receive full payment-card details.
Advertising and privacy choices
The advertising-enabled free version uses Google AdMob and Google's User Messaging Platform. Banners appear only on the mobile home screen and never over playback. The app requests contextual or non-personalised ads, but Google SDKs may still process IP-derived location, device or advertising identifiers, app interactions, diagnostics and consent signals for delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and security. You can review applicable consent choices in the app. The purchase removes ads.

Security and sharing
We do not sell source credentials or media. Your chosen providers, Google services and selected storage providers process data under their policies. Platform protection and encryption reduce risk but cannot guarantee absolute security. Parental PINs are stored as salted verification hashes. Diagnostic sharing is user-initiated and redacts full stream URLs and credentials.
Your controls and rights
You can remove sources or guides, disable background updates, revoke file permissions, or clear app storage in Android Settings. Clearing app data does not delete external files, provider records or Google transactions. Contact those services for their records. For applicable access, correction or deletion requests about information sent directly to the publisher, email w1lljsb84@gmail.com.
Children and changes
Zaptrell is not designed specifically for children. Adults control the sources and content they add. We do not knowingly solicit children's personal information through support. Policy changes will be identified by a revised effective date.
